Deep Creeks. Eagles Nest and Oro del Ray mines

We didnt make it into the main workings, but are planning another trip back in mid-October if you're interested. There are two other mines in the area we plan on visiting, now that we have the lay of the land. I came across some pretty extensive Topo maps of all the entrances.

We only have one vehicle capable of making it to the top at this point so we may have to get creative with space, some of us will probably end up walking the switch backs since there wouldnt be enough seats. Dont let that discourage you though, I would certainly be comfortable doing it.
