What's the strangest thing you found in a mine ?

Once walked into a stope we had set as a staging area for a film crew with a SAG actress holding her cell phone up trying to get signal... Found the thought of such an act quite disturbing.

While waiting for others to rope up, I sat reading an old newspaper article from the 40's reporting on some "holigans" actions (wild guys just home after WWII). We were in the Cargo Mine near Yuma. Serveral months later and hundreds of miles away (I think it was the Santa Rosa near Darwin) I picked up an old newspaper bit and it was the SAME article!

The Red Dog was just plain weird. Jeff's newspaper coincidence was almost creepy.

Let me see... we found a bunch of porn (magazines) about 200' down inside the Goldenrod Mine. We also found a porn VHS tape buried in a hollow in the Noonday Mine.

I sense a trend...
