In the War Eagle I found a few pieces of paper stapled together. I picked it up and saw a picture of me from this site. That's the last thing I thought I'd find underground.
What's the strangest thing you found in a mine ?

In the Old King David, 900 vertical ft. down. Then about 1000 ft. down the haul tunnel and around the tunnel under the Horn Silver, two Quilted Blankets. I guess someone spent the night down there.
DanWe do it underground and under water.

I like this topic; Lets see....
A live domestic cat living over 100' down inside of an unknown mine shaft outside Austin Nevada. Far from any homes.
A woman's corset circa 1909 180' down a mine shaft in Golfield NV.
A collection of toys (HotWheels, ponies, flash cards) in the bottom of the Rebel Mine.-Stuart Burgess

Red dog mine south of Ludlow CA we found on a lower level a wrought iron cafe bistro style table and 2 matching chairs like you would find on someones patio. Guess some transients called it home for a bit.-Stuart Burgess

Wow you know that's a pretty good idea! Hmmm I think a Furby would definitely be a good one. Now we just need to think of something a little more portable.-Stuart Burgess
