Mark, you find a time that will work for Wilson and we will make sure to get things organized around that. What month are you thinking?

Ok Guys... and gals... I got an e-mail back from Clerance(from now on known as "Grumpy") this evening and he'd be happy to let us go through the mine... Here's his reply

          "Hi Mark!
Nice to hear from you again! I havn't had too much time to play in that site as yet, but it looks real interesting. If you and /or your group would like to tour the mine, just let me know when, and you know I will do what I can to accommodate. "

So you guys decide on a date and I'll run it by him.... Just don't make that date for when I have a big job going on in some other state.... haha... happens every time an interesting trip pops up

BTW: I told him to register for this site and also spend some time going torough it... thats what he's referring to above about playing on the site... sadly, he wasn't referring to playjng in a mine but this site is certainly the next best thing!

That was an awesome trip, and Grumpy was one hell of a host.. I would highly suggest that anyone who is disregarding this trip, re-evaluate. its amazing to see what he has done with the mine... oh, and he still has some good ore left in that mine too.. I seem to remember Mark found some good samples and then Grumpy decided he had better keep those.

We never did find a date to do this. I think we've got time in April to schedule a trip over. How does everybody else's schedules fit into an April trip?

just as an FYI, this project may be dead, when we were out there last week, all of the equipment was gone from the lower site and there was no other equipment visible with the exception of two trailers high up on the site.

Either its dead, or they could be done with all the exploration drilling and are getting ready to move onto some actual site work.

I would guess dead, because they would need equipment, plain and simple to keep working and opening up. The fact that all that equipment is gone says one of two things, one, like Stuart said, they need a whole new inventory of equipment to get underground and work. or Two... the market sucks ass, and they cant get funded to extract ores of minimal reserve. Either way, I'll be watching the area on Oct.1.
