This mine was a more unique than most mines. They actually started mining it in the 1890's. The mine enterance is pretty small from land sliding. But once you get in it looks and feels almost as if you are a miner. They still have a lot of tools left, still almost all usable. The cave goes in about 5,000 feet and veers off to the right for a few hundered feet, then drops down a few hundered feet. Here is a picture I took. If you want to know more just ask.
