    Hey Stuart,
This mine was a more unique than most mines. They actually started mining it in the 1890's. The mine enterance is pretty small from land sliding. But once you get in it looks and feels almost as if you are a miner. They still have a lot of tools left, still almost all usable. The cave goes in about 5,000 feet and veers off to the right for a few hundered feet, then drops down a few hundered feet. Here is a picture I took. If you want to know more just ask. Thanks for asking.

    Sweet.

Hey Jake this is awesome. Love to see some cool stuff from a fellow explorer. This mine sounds pretty large, are the conditions inside the mine very favorable? IE: are there lots of cave-ins etc? How about the air quality? I like the picture, it gives me a pretty good idea of the rock composition, looks like granite with some iron content. Keep up the good work!

      Hey Stu,
The mine conditions are actually pretty great. I explored it pretty far and only saw a few cave ins, mostly around weak points in the mine. Overall it is a pretty stong mine, expecially since its composed of Granite also a little Diorite which is composed of somthing between granite and Gabbro and some iron content. I know a little bit about rock composition. The mine had very good air quality for a mine. If I lit a match it would have burned fine all through out the mine. Nice questions, thanks man.
