I bought a small jaw crusher at the end of last year. It works great. I run 2" to 3" chunks through it and crush them down to about 1/4". Then I adjust the jaws and crush that down to powder. It's not terribly fast, but much faster than a mortar and pestle. I power mine with a 1hp electric motor, but it would be easy to weld a handle to the flywheel and tun it by hand. Here's a link to the site where I bought mine.
mailto:merlin800@msn.com I don't know why that won't post as a hyperlink.Comment

for those that may be interested. If i can get up the dividends ill be getting this one. I dont and probably cant get a motor for it but ill just fix it to run by hand.

That's the same one that I have. I run mine with a 1 hp electric motor- it was about $130 (the motor). It works great. It would also work by hand. It would be nice to run it with an exercise bike if you could figure out a way to set it up.Comment
