Holes in the ground.

I was looking on google earth at the land near where I grew up and noticed a strange thing. Lots of hole in the ground. They look really weird Does anyone know what they might be? Are they mine shafts, or maybe test holes dug? They are south of Santaquin and just north of what I have always understood is rumored to be a polygamist community. They are all around this gps location: 39° 56' 34.29"n 111° 49' 33.69"w

My guess is they are water. At least that's what it looks like. Little pools of water for livestock maybe.

I believe those are perc test holes. I don't know a whole lot about them other than they do it in areas where they want to develop homes to test the ground stability I think.

Of coarse I live in Santaquin & he lived about 1/4 mile from me when he first moved here.
