    So long...for a time

    Hey everyone looks like I'll be serving my mission in Peru which means I won't be around for 2 years starting July 8. Anywho Just wanted to say I've had a blast going on all the trips I've been on with all of you. I wont be able to attend the trip next week (the 25th) as I'm leaving that morning for the long drive to Michigan I was really looking forward to it too . Anyways I'll keep you all posted with my adventures I've got planed with some of my friends in Michigan as there's a lot of mining history in my and surrounding counties. Thanks again for all the fun and tips on exploring!!

    Its been fun having you along James, we will miss having you come along on our trips. You have quite a bit of experience underground now that you can take with you.

      Peru - perhaps you can find some long forgotten mines down there! Good luck on the mission, enjoy the mate' and don't contract any of the communicable foot, intestinal, or periodontal diseases that South America is famous for!

            !Que le vaya bien, Elder!
            -a survivor of my 1976-1978 Santiago Chile mission and envious of you going to Peru! Watch the water, my appendix did not survive the H20 of Chile and I even contracted typhoid fever down there, BUT I would not have missed it for the world, and seeing some of the most majestic copper mines in the world was a special treat. Peru should have its share of silver mines... Good luck and best wishes! Post your PObox at the MTC to the group and we'll try to keep in contact :}
