My roommate is in a pretty sweet band called Going Second. http://www.goingsecond.com. They are having their new album release party at Liquid Joe's in Salt Lake (33rd south and 13th East) on Jan 23rd. I've got free tickets for everybody.
A little about the band:
They play alternative/punk/rock and they don't suck like most local bands. One of the best I've ever heard. They are getting some national radio play at the moment and will be touring the next couple months. They also may be playing the Warped Tour this summer. They're very energetic and put on a good show. Plus, did I mention I have free tickets? Oh yeah, you have to be 21 to go (sorry Crystal). For those of you that hate smoke & clubs, you can't smoke inside in Utah anymore so that's no longer an issue (the singer is pretty excited about that).
