    My Bloody Valetine 3D

There is a movie coming out on January 16th. I'm wondering if there is any interest in having a Mojave Underground get together to see the new movie. The movie is called My Bloody Valetine 3D and it takes place in a mine. I can see it Friday during the day or maybe Saturday night. Let me know. I think it would be fun to wear our helmets and coveralls. Really freak everyone out.

Synopsis: Ten years ago, a tragedy changed the town of Harmony forever. Tom Hanniger, an inexperienced coal miner, caused an accident in the tunnels that trapped and killed five men and sent the only... Ten years ago, a tragedy changed the town of Harmony forever. Tom Hanniger, an inexperienced coal miner, caused an accident in the tunnels that trapped and killed five men and sent the only survivor, Harry Warden, into a permanent coma. But Harry Warden wanted revenge. Exactly one year later, on Valentine's Day, he woke up...and brutally murdered twenty-two people with a pick axe before being killed.

Ten years later, Tom Hanniger returns to Harmony on Valentine's Day, still haunted by the deaths he caused. Struggling to make amends with his past, he grapples with unresolved feelings for his ex-girlfriend, Sarah, who is now married to his best friend, Axel, the town sheriff. But tonight, after years of peace, something from Harmony's dark past has returned. Wearing a miner's mask and armed with a pickaxe, an unstoppable killer is on the loose. And as his footsteps come ever closer, Tom, Sarah and Axel realize in terror that it just might be Harry Warden who's come back to claim them...

Presented in stunningly real, cutting edge 3-D projection, My Bloody Valentine 3-D stars Jensen Ackles (TV's "Smallville" and "Supernatural"), Jaime King (The Spirit, Sin City, Sin City 2) and Kerr Smith (Final Destination, "Dawson's Creek"). A remake of the 1981 horror classic, My Bloody Valentine 3-D is directed by Patrick Lussier and produced by Jack Murray. --© Lions Gate

Saturday Night it is. I think we should shoot for a 9:00 pm start time (est) for those that are going to the mine during the day. I uploaded a different link from YouTube and it seems to be working now. This movie will probably be less then entertaining, so I think we should help out in anyway we can. Anyone else up for Saturday night?

Wow, the mine scenes look pretty sweet anyway. I wonder where they shot it? We are talking about this Saturday right (January 10th)?

Yeah, I think the 17th should work. It will be a very very busy day though for those who stay for all three events. Shooting at 10:00am, Underground Photography Workshop at 1:00pm and a movie at 9:00pm. Sounds like a fun day!

So it looks like it was actually shot inside of coal mines, sweet!

What theater will you be going to? I'm assuming you'll be in Utah County somewhere? Me and Andrea definitely want to come. The previews look sweet! Also, it would be kinda cool to maybe see it the night before so we're all freaked out! Just an idea.

Well, if I were to pick a theater I'd say we go to the thanksgiving point theater. That way hopefully we can pick up dinner after the Photo Shoot and catch the movie.

I don't know about us getting freaked out, but some of the noobs might. I know I feel more comfortable inside a mine than I do in the mall.

The new Cinemark in Orem, just behind the University Mall, has the best non-IMAX 3D screen in the state. Me thinks that is the place to go.
