    ATK Static Booster Test

    I know this is really short notice. But if anyone is interested I am heading out to ATK to watch them do a Solid Rocket Booster test for the Space Shuttle on Thursday Dec 4th. The time is sheduled for 12:26 PM. ATK is about 30 miles West of Brigham City Utah. If you are interested in going, call me 801-821-6228 or I will see you there. If you have never seen this, it's awesome!!! I will post the video on youtube also.

          Sweet! Unfortunately I am 3500 miles away right now up in Alaska and wont be able to make it. Can't wait to see the video!

              This is some footage that I took at the booster test. This is one of those things you have to be there in person to really appriciate the power. The ground was rumbling and my truck was shaking. It was amazing.

                          this is my third one in the last 2 years. My friend Dennis works at ATK and is going to let me know when the next one is. I will make sure I pass it along. It's really cool to see. And sometimes they do it at night. How awesome would a night test be. Blinding.

                              Count me in for going to see/hear one of these tests... Watching any rocket that size is an absolutely mind blowing experisnce!!
