Does anyone know of a good assay service that will look at small samples? When I lived in Las Vegas, NV I used to get assays done for about $25. I know those days are gone but I poke around a lot of (very) abandoned mines and find ore with lots of color. There might still be gold in them there hills, or silver, or iron at least. A few years back when I worked for a container company, we would pick up ore from the Dragon Mine above Silver City. When I was a young-un there was nothing and no one out there. Obviously there's still some good prospects at large.
