    Mojave Underground Public Meetings

    Mojave Underground Public Meetings

Starting March 29th, 2011, Mojave Underground will be holding our first monthly public meeting.

Where: West Jordan Library - 1970 West 7800 South, West Jordan, UT
When: Last Tuesday of Each Month (starting March 29th) at 6:30PM

These exciting meetings will have a great opportunity to learn about mining history, exploration, technique, safety, and a great opportunity to collaborate with others. Bring your friends and family!

This upcoming meeting will have a great presentation on Mojave Underground, a mining trip report, discussion on future trips, and possible a raffle for some amazing artifacts and minerals.

There is no entrance fee or membership fee required. Just show up! We look forward to seeing you there.

I would highly recommend this meeting for anyone new to Mojave Underground or for anyone who is interested in learning more about Mojave Underground.

The media is welcome to attend this meeting and we will hold a Q&A session after the main portion has completed.

I'd love to make it - however I'm on day shift that week, and getting up at 0300 hrs means I've gotta be in bed early - like by 2030... Between the meeting and the drive to/from the West Jordan Library from Tooele, there's no way I'd be alive at work the next morning.

      Maybe next time.
I'd say I'm fat and out of shape, but, "round" is a shape...

We will be holding them on a monthly basis to keep everyone involved in the group and share our experiences we have out in the mines.

Monthly meetings!! Great idea MU. This is one step further to keep our mining heritage alive. Some times a forum on the internet can not take the place of a one on one discussion. I look forward to seeing the MU team and other explores & miners and other like mined people.

Should be a lot of fun.

          Regards,
          Dan

Hey, If you guys ever drop down to the Kingman area (in Arizona) for public meetings, let me know as ill be 'in'. I know plenty of people around the city here that would attend that. Possibly more than 10.
