November mine exploring trip to Lone Pine, CA

We're going back to Lone Pine on the Friday after Thanksgiving. We're going to drive up and take everyone in our group that hasn't been there through the Reward Mine that afternoon and then explore the Santa Rosa Mine north of Darwin on Saturday. It looks like we're going to stay at Diaz Lake County Park just south of town.

If anyone is interested in joining us please let me know.

We're just going to do a "Quick" run through on the Reward. Three of us explored the whole thing in May and we're going to take the rest of our group on a tour. It's a great mine with lots to see (we spent 12 hours in there last time).

Wish I could make it, but we may be moving that week. Take lots of pictures!

That sounds like fun. I was in Lone pine this last summer to hike Mt Whitney. I saw some mines off the road but we didn't have time to stop and explore them.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it either. My ankle feels better for the most part, but if I step wrong I can feel the ligaments and tendons giving way; I still have a little while before I'll be able to do anything that physical. Take lots of pictures and hopefully I'll be able to join on a later outing.
