GRE @ Frisco on the news tonight

Corey Shuman, of Gold Rush Expeditions Inc. has been working with Channel 4 News doing a piece on Frisco. It will be airing at 10pm. Keep an eye out for it! I don't have a TV, else I'd watch it. Should be online later.

I find it interesting that this ABC4 is also the ones who did the terrible piece on people exploring up in the Stockton area.

I'll be interested in seeing if the news story mentions the mines in the area or if the news piece and Corey merely mention the historical aspect of the town of Frisco itself.....Either way, any coverage is a good thing.

I saw the last 30 seconds of it last night. Saw Corey, and thought it came over very well. Even the Local Mayor was against filling the mines in.

Wait a second... when did mining become Utah's "secret history". So according to Channel 4; Frisco, the Bingham Canyon mines, Park City, Mercur, are all a "secret history". Are they something to be hidden and ashamed of? Indeed mining in Utah will become a secret history if it continues to be regarded as such. Oh wait a minute now I remember, Utah has always just been a provider of software development, tech support, Noni juice, and NuSkin products, I guess we never did any of that "dirty" industrial work.

Ok, rant over. The second "The ghosts need help article" puts some sense to the debate, I'm glad Mr. Hunsaker gave a better twist to the story. Hopefully his article with gather some interest and bring others to our cause.

Speaking of Frisco, we need to get some photo/video teams down there to do some documentation.

                    Nice Job Corey!

It's been a very long time since I have been there. I barely remember it. Maybe a trip (full of responsible, equipped, and experienced individuals) is in order...
