DOGM Meeting to brief board August 27 on abandoned mines

DOGM recently posted a press release for their upcoming Board Meeting August 27th. AT 9 AM in the morning, the DOGM director will address the DOGM Board on "issues relating to abandoned mine reclamation." Who knows, MU may even be discussed! At 10AM the formal agenda will be heard. Anyone who can attend this public meeting, should attend, to hear what the DOGM director will tell the full board about abandoned mine reclamation. There may NOT be an opportunity for the public to speak at this hearing, but with some people there, there may be an opportunity to know what DOGM is telling the full board about the status of abandoned mine reclamation in Utah.

The meeting is held at the DNR offices on North Temple just E of Redwood Road. The full press release can be found here:

Ok, here is what I am thinking..

Here is what I think we should do: Lets all go to the meeting, then we will have brunch followed by a Mojave Underground meeting concerning DOGM's plans and what we are going to do to sabotage them.
We also need to sit down and plan quite a few other things.

Lets see if we can't pack the house with anti-DOGMers!
