Ah yes Guy Starbuck. His site is a great site, now if we could just get him to share some of his secret locations with us.

Since I have been exploring in Nevada so much this year I have actually stumbled upon a few his secret locations. I was up at Silver Dyke AKA "Morris Camp": http://www.starbuck.org/exploring/mnv/morriscamp/ a few months ago and have pictures from it in the gallery here: http://mojaveunderground.com/gallery...a/Silver+Dyke/
We one upped those guys and dropped into the really old mines on top of the hill instead of going into the newer (50's) Tungsten operation.

Starbuck and the DzrtGrls have helped keep me awake during long, boring night shifts here at work... Over the years, I've probably checked out all of their pics / trip reports that they've posted. Heck, I've even browsed through the galleries here on MU.

Sites like those (and MU), coupled with Google Earth, can help a night shift fly by.
I'd say I'm fat and out of shape, but, "round" is a shape...

Oh yeah I can agree with that, its fun just looking at the pictures and info they do give about the mines and then trying to figure out where they are at. Whether it is GE or just a plain old atlas I can always burn hours staring at a map.
