    There, I'm finally registered

J/K. Anyway, some of you already know me from a couple of meetups at the Ophir Hill Mine. For those of you that don't, I'm Rachel Cornett. I'm 30 years old, married to my husband Jared for 10 years now, we have two beautiful troublemaking daughters, my five year old Becca and my one year old Morgan. We live in Salt Lake City with our pit bull Tessa who just turned 10 and our German Shepherd puppy Thor. We also have a pitamese (half pit bull half siamese) cat/dog (whatever you want to call it) cat named Ash that thinks he's a pit bull because Tessa raised him from a tiny kitten and another cat by the name of Frisco. We also have two noisy cockatiels, Buster and Skittles and a mischievous rabbit named Lucky. My interests when I'm not wrangling kids, cleaning house and cooking are exploring ghost towns and mines and rescuing and rehoming pit bulls and collies. I've been working as a part of the Pit Crew (specifically with bully breeds) with Salt Lake County Animal Services and have been asked to be on the Collie Rescue of Utah board. I look forward to many more meetups with Mojave Underground and getting to know everybody better.

Welcome to the forum Rachel! Glad you were able to make it out to another Intro Trip to the Ophir. If you find or have any interesting ghost town stories please share! We'd love to hear/read them.
Thanks for signing up and we'll see you underground.
