Hi all, mine name is Kurt Williams. I ran across this site after some posts on RockyMountainExtreme.com, I go by cruiseroutfit there.

I've been interested in mining, ghost towns, mine exploration, etc for ~15 years now. My most recent research is in regards to the American Fork Canyon Mines though I have collected a wealth of books, articles, maps and general research on mines and ghost towns throughout the state. My collection is constantly growing, fuel by sites like this and my weekend endeavors.

Great to have you onboard Kurt. Sounds like you've got a lot of experience with AF canyon. Stu and I used to explore all around the canyon and mines back in High School before there latest reclamation efforts up at the Pacific Mine and related areas. It was sad to see them go. My brother does a little bit of dredging up MEG lately and has pulled almost an oz out of the river.

I'm quite interested in your research. I love learning of all the hidden treasures around the state.
