Hi all,
Found your website through the Abandoned Mines of NJ website, and knew I had to join. I live in the Black Hills of South Dakota and have recently gotten into exploring our rich mining history. I am currently visiting and photographing/documenting mines here in the Hills before mother nature, big brother, or morons destroy them. I am currently working on a book that will cover information and photographs of the varrious mines as they stand today, and I hope to have finished in the next year or two. As of now I have visited about a dozen mines and been underground a few times, hope to get some more time to explore after I graduate college in a few months. I will be creating a thread soon with photos.
