Hey it looks like The White Stripes band has a new limited edition camera that they are selling. I just wanted to know if any of you big camera fella's knew what this camera was all about and if you think its worth it to have one. Some of the sample pictures that they have along with the description of the camera look really cool. Well enjoy, and hey also check out the music from The White Stripes. I get really inspired by the wacky lyrics and the blues inspired style of guitar. Well have an awesome day and here is the link to the camera

We'll see what happens, i dont have a ton of money lately so i dont know if i would go for the White Stripes version of this camera, maybe just look for a cheaper one on Ebay or something i dunno, but it looks like a blastStrong Bad: Things were just about to start getting crazy go nuts!Comment

yep
Yeah the white stripes version is a little excessive considering it doesnt offer anything more than you could acquire somewhere else for a better price. I do like the white stripes by the way. Holgas are known for their cheap inexpensive design so they are quite cost effective. Here is a brief rundown on pricing from ebay http://search.ebay.com/holga_W0QQfnu...rprZ8QQxpufuZx
Happy photoness!

Yep the 1Ds is a sweet body, I have a friend that shoots with one, he does weddings... for me I shoot alot of sports, rodeo, snowmobiling, etc.. I need something with a little more speed, I would love a D3 or a 1D, but I dont want to spend 4-5 Grand on a body, I currently have a D300 & with the battery grip I can get 8 fps, I almost sold all my nikon stuff a couple months ago and went with the 40D, It was impossible to find pro glass for the nikon. I looked for almost 2 months trying to find a 70-200 2.8 VR, it was out of stock everywhere and was going for way over retail on ebay. finally found one at Farrs jewelery right here in Ogden.
I would love to get together with you guys, even though you have a Canon they are all good...
here is some of my snowmobiling stuff, let me know if you like..
the processing is called LucisArt. kinda cool...Comment

Wow those are really impressive. I love the LucisArt filtering. Amazing look. I love the heavy action feel. Looks like your using a nice lens there too.
The 40D is an amazing camera. The 14-bit A/D Raw images, 10.1 MP, Live View, Self Cleaning, Digic III, and a bunch of other cool stuff are high selling points for me. Cheap too. When I upgrade mine, that will be the one.Comment

Wow, these are great! Good job with the filters.
I also shoot with the Canon 20d, but Ive got nice lenses
