Abandoned airforce radio base, also had supports for multiple Nike missle track and targeting radar platforms. It now is completly abandoned accept for an active FAA radar site located on premises. There are roughly 10-20 buildings left full of stuff. There is also a small ajoining neighborhood with base housing consisting of about 15 homes. Homeland security does patrol the site, but not regularly. But their only interest is vandals and security for the FAA radar site. I work for the FAA and brought my ID along when I learned of this place. This insured we could explore "unhindered" as it were.
