    The Fog

    On the trip this past weekend we encountered some really neato fog layers out in the desert and at Gold Hill. Lots of us took photos so others please also post your results. Photographing fog is not all that easy! Here are a few pictures of what it looked like through my lens...

    From a distance... Its alot thicker layer than it looks from up here...

    A bit closer and... the road just disappears right into it...


    Gettin gobbled up by the fog...


    Must be some heat comming out of Gold Hill. The Fog didn't make it quite that far...

        That fog was amazing! When we came down into the fog it felt like we were driving off the edge of the world into medieval oblivion. I love that last picture where you can see our trucks winding our way up from the valley. I will post my pictures as soon as I find my CF card reader... it got lost in the move.
