For those of you who are interested in joining us on trips or whatever we might be doing in the future, Meetup is a great place that will keep track of events for you. It seems like meetup might be used exclusively for the trips. Is there any truth to this? I signed up and like the idea, but the main time I am in front of a computer is at work and for some reason they block meetup.

It is over there because Meetup informs users of new activities the second they are planned, it manages RSVPs, and is overall a very efficient site.
