    Shooting and Photography Workshop TR

Shooting: The day started out with us heading out close to Ophir to shoot our awesome guns, about 20 people showed up with all kinds of firearms but I think the one that got everyone excited was Shawn's AR-50. Only 4 people were brave enough to shoot the massage gun and that was Shawn, Stuart, Mike and Mike's friend Mark but we all felt the strong blast from the shock wave.

Photography workshop: All of us made it back in the mine to the blue room where we sang Stuart happy birthday and ate award winning German chocolate cake in the shape of a mine entrance and ice cream. After the celebrating we got on with business Mike led the photo workshop and Stuart took the rest of the folks to move some batteries for the mine owner. His group managed to load two batteries on the little cart Miah made to be removed on a later date.
When we all met up back again we broke up into groups once more to go explore, Mike took a group to the bridge, Robert's group made it's way to the "This way out" lake and Stuart and I took the three leftovers for some real exploring. We went down the old main incline (which is located by the ore bins on the tunnel to the big room) Stuart found that at the bottom of the incline there is a ladder that goes up that will take you all the way to the incline in the bottom of the blue room. With that mystery solved one member left for home and I recruited several more people and we went up the incline. Up there we entered a really large stope area with lots of fallen boulders from the ceiling. Finding lots of dust on top of these rocks we decided it was probably safe as long as we didn't push the timber supports over. While trying to figure out where we were, we saw lights from another group! It turned out we were just above the 'This way out' area. Finding this I took several of our members over to the other group and made our way down to the blue room. Stuart and his group now only containing Shawn and Tobin set out to find the exit. (I'll let Stuart tell his own tale.)

After we all made it out of the mine the MMT and Devin and his wife went to Porter's Place in Lehi. It was only the MMT who made it to the movie and I must say it was pretty gross. I had my eyes closed during all the sick slasher scenes, with the 3-D it made things look extra gory.

Sweet video, we need to go do this again soon. Next time we need to take video of the 50cal shooting at night, it has some cool looking flames flying out of it. I will also try and get some tracers for it.

That looks like a really fun time! Thanks for posting the video for those of us who had to work for the man and could not be there! I still don't know how I feel about the hat though, Stu...

I want to check this movie out, but I am not into the real gory stuff. On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being the least gory and 10 being the most gory, what would you rate this?

Well, with one being bamby and 10 being Rambo 4, I'd say its a good solid 8.75. The gore is somewhat cheesy and fake, but it is in 3d so its extra cheesy fake gore. After watching the autopsy scenes in faces of death, this movie is pretty weak.

That was a great video and the music was perfect!

Is it me, or are the videos cut off? I am also not seeing how to pause, rewind, etc...

HAHA! I am using internet explorer here at work. I am pretty sure it looks the same on my mac though. Looks like my work is holding off upgrading, since we are still using the old 6.0. Is that it? Basically you can pause, etc?

IE7 is supported. I don't know why you'd hold off with 6. Sounds like your work needs a new IT man.

Thanks for the feedback on the video. It took some time to get the music in sync with the video.
I also had to view the video with FireFox to get the full screen view.
Time to upgrade to Firefox on all of my systems.
