It's been a while since this trip, but it's one of the best mines I've explored in a while.
The Emerson Mines are a set of old Tungsten mines located about 6.3 miles East of Rachel, NV.
These mines cover an elevation of over 2000', with most tunnels and levels being interconnected. Tunnels are large enough for machinery to be driven around inside. There is a mill and office onsite that are in fairly decent condition. There were no "No Trespassing" signs that we could see anywhere. The locals also proved to be quite friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.
Keep in mind that the real Area 51 is literally in the next valley over, so it would probably be wise to be cautious.
