Just got back from one of the best trip's I've had in the last 2 years. We started by meeting up with several folks from MU just outside of Death Valley for some exploring. This was our first location and it pretty much set the tone for the trip.
From there The MU'ers had to roll back to salt lake. So my buddy and I headed over to the NV border and paid a visit to the B&B mine. For those of you who asked on our trip about it. Its definatley worth the trip. Since its so remote and hard to get to its not picked over at all. BTW Jeremiah your diesel rig won't make it. The last 10 miles has some moderate offroading but with some narrow turns and ledges. A fullsize just might be too wide.
From here we proceeded thru DV south towards baker and Mojave.
We then swung into the Dale mining district in Joshua tree and hit the following sites.
The following day we swung into Eagle mountain. This area is off limits and is completley fenced off. We were lucky enough to run into a contractor truck and he didn't care if we followed him in, so for the 20 minutes we were behind the fence we just started taking photos. We were eventually escorted off property by contractors/security.
Finally on our way back to Phoenix we ran into Hotel California
Great trip. Justin and I were both glad to have met some of you. Hopefully we will get to have some more adventures soon.
