Has any one made the trip up Goshute Canyon and into the Oro Del Rey mine? We were up there a few years ago - but ran out of time, there are several mines in the area. Anyone else done some exploring in the area? Note the first mile or so of the road follows the river bed -- requires 4x4. --

I've was up there a few times last year.
The road in the canyon seems almost impassable without an ATV. It could be done with a rock crawler.
There are a few mines in the area that are worth checking out. Not too many people make it up that way. There are also some old cabins along the way.
