Utah Abondoned Mine Distribution Map

Thought it was pretty interesting. The Mine I found in the Stansbury Range last weekend seems to be in one of the pockets of mines label under the Radioactive Materials color. Do these types of mines cause any health issues with exploration? I know MU spent some time down in the swell, did you guys feel any immediate health issues?

From what I understand Radon gas is more of a concern than the radioactivity with these and most abandoned uranium mines.
