These are the Lead Hill Mines. They are under the BLM Administration. Lead, Zinc, and Silver were mined out of it. Mining began in 1908. I can't find much more info outside that.

The mine on the east side goes in a about a hundred yards or so and is full of water at the bottom and a lead string someone ran goes under the water.
The middle one goes down and has water in it but it appears passable and I didn’t go any further than that. The one on the west side goes in straight and has a passage that breaks off to the right, my boy says it dead ends after a short climb. The straight one goes to a point it looks as if you have to crawl through to get to the other side, I also didn’t go past this point.
I have a few Pics on Flickr under my user name kdt1970 of two of the mines.
