Frank and Payne mines near Duchesne

My family and I are going to be heading to Starvation State Park for Easter and I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the mines in the area? These are two that I found, but they might not even be worth searching them out. I am not sure.

I was also curious about any abandoned mines in the Moab area that would be worth exploring?

If anyone has any input, I would really appreciate it!

Well there is not a whole lot out there, outside oil fields, tar, and gilsonite mines. Kurt has a few sites in his list of mines, he might know more.

BTW, Thanks Mike for the response. I was kind of hoping that someone else might chime in by now, but I guess maybe there really isn't much going on out there. I am wondering if it will be worth driving out there, like if there would even be an entrance?? I have been unsuccessful finding info online.
