Wilson Mine Visit

Since this has been brought up in other threads by several interested parties I'm going to say shoot me two different April dates that we could possibly go for. I'll run these past Grumpy and post which date would work better for him. He can only meet us there on Weekends but he's a pretty agreeable guy too.

"When ever is good for me! I am taking a scout troop out the last weekend this month. I also have other groups that plan on going out, but as yet have not set definate dates. Its kinda first reserve first choice! Let me know what dates you desire. I will be more than willing to go out when ever needed. "

"There is also room down below should anyone desire to sleep down below. Quit often individuals that go out don't bother with tents because they choose the peace and quiet of the mine. I now have my room below set up to comfortably live. I think you will be surprised with some of the changes. Once last year I spent 4 days down below before having to resurface to load up & go home. I look forward to hopefully spending a full week down there this year if I can find the time. "


Ok guys... you all decide and I'lll let him know which weekend. The only time I can't is the end of March since my wife is having her right knee replaced. Otherwise any date is good for me. Oh, and if you want to spend overnight in the mine he is obviously also fine with that. Much of the mine is actually very clean and all you need do is spread a tarp on the floor and roll out the bag. It's not a huge mine by any means but a really nice one thats been very well maintained.

Well were going to cap the group size at 20 people; so a maximum of 20.
