Ok I don't know the actual name of the mine but has anyone been in the Mine up at Jacob city that goes north from the City area? I know that it is gated and that you "Can" get through the opening in the gate.. anyhow any information about how deep it goes, stable? etc

OK this is what I am showing, but the Hidden Treasure is north and slightly west of this location. I thought that the mine that you are referencing is to the north of the Hidden Treasure?

THe mine you marked is a ways south of where I am referring to.. if you have been up to Jacob city VIA dry creek there is a rather large landing with some building floors left as you get into the city proper.. to the north and west of this across the bottom of the ravine is a mine entrance.. it has a gate on it but you could (Can if you are 6'4" 220) fit through the bars.. I thought I had a pic of the area but I don'tComment

I have been through this mine. It is actually quite small, with the exception of a shaft inside which we have not dropped. There is also an open breath hole about 30' up from the mine. Impossible to see unless you know its there. Easy to find on the inside.Comment

I don't have it handy here at work. And my uber lappy of nuclear power is in the repair shop, getting a new mobo and gpu.Comment

The description matches to the Utah Queen, but the coords match more toward one just off the right side of the road on the way up to the town. Utah Queen is a great mine. A few levels and some neat crystals.Comment

Just checked the coordinates in GE, they are pretty close to the Utah Queen portal.-Stuart Burgess

THanks for the info on the mine.. I know there is another mine just down the road (about a mile+) on a offshoot road as well.. so where can I go to get a map with the names of the mines in these here mountains so I can stop asking for names and such..
I may have to take a trip into the Utah Queen sometime soon just to take a look at the formations you are referring to.Comment
