I am headed up to Cache County this weekend, and looking to get underground before the snow makes travel and hiking a trial. I know of the Logan Cave, and the Amazon Mine, but that is about it up in that part of the state. When i am up there i am usually hunting or obligated to family events, but i have few plans this weekend. Any pointers would be great! Even just parts of the valley to look into. I guess there could be few/no mines up there, but i am just checking to see.

Does anyone know some history about the abandoned mine up Smithfield Canyon? North side of the road just below where the road ends..for vehicles.
