    Scary mine photos

Ok, we all have tons of photos that we like to share. Let's start a thread of photos of the sketchiest places we've gone. Big drops, tiny holes, or collapsing passages. I'll start with a few and see who else will jump in with their favorite "OMG! You went THERE?" pictures.

Pushing through a collapse that opened into a nice section of mine.

Tony crawling through a collapse. Gotta hope nothing settles.

We dug out a 2" gap enough to slide through. This one was a bust though. Ended shortly beyond.

Connection from mine to large natural cave. The best of both worlds !!!

This might not look that scary, but if you'd seen the barn owl that had just missed flying into our faces you'd post is one too. Without a doubt the scariest moment I've had underground

This was in the first "real" mine I explored. I didn't think twice about crossing this bridge.....I thought about it 100 times. Glad I did, there was a 150' winze just after the bridge that you couldn't see till you crossed it

The swervey ladders were made of modern angle iron. This was in a mine that is still operating today.

Oh really? Still operating? Are they currently using cars & tracks?
