    Dugway mountain range

Here is somthing to think about when exploring the mines in the Dugway range. Just look up "Project Sphinx, Dugway" on google. It talks about how Dugway proving grounds used the mines in the 1940's. Or check out this site.

Ah, the Canon family. They have tried suing the Army multiple times. They also own a few other patented sites in the Dugway's that they are trying to sell for exorbitant prices.

The Army has been through that area a few times and it has been certified "clean". You can still find some old metal scraps from conventional weapons that were dropped. The Yellow Jacket claims are the ones that were claimed to be possibly contaminated. I've been to them a few times. Given that whatever agent they might of, or might not of dropped down in the early 40's is now 70+ years old, there is no chemical weapon that's persistence lasts that long. The only danger would be from UXO, and at that point, highly unlikely.

The Canon family is just looking for a get rich quick scheme. IF those claims held as much gold as the family suggests, do you really think the grandpa would of just leased them to the Army?? If you search through old Deseret News articles, there are a few stories going back to around 2000 on this issue.
