    First Winter Snowfall

Last Friday and Saturday we got a decent amount of snow. I was so glad to see the flakes falling heavily down. Chris and I hopped in his car (mine was broken still) and drove up Dry Fork Canyon into Red Cloud Loop. The snow started falling heavily. Within an hour, we had already gotten almost a foot of snow and his car started faltering. After some pushing and spinning wheels, made it back home. When I awoke early Sunday morning, I looked out the window of my hotel room and was amazed at the sight. The sun was shining brightly and not a cloud was in the sky. I hopped in my truck (fixed by this point) and started off the Red Fleet Resevoir to take some photos. The day was perfect. What a great way to end the first snowfall of the year.

Well just out there today, and I say yes. I've got chains on the front tires and new tires on the back and I do quite well. With chains on the back, I think I can take another foot of snow and that would be it. No more.

Yeah with new tires and chains I bet your truck is a monster out there. Good thing too, we need a good vehicle to Mojave in the winter.
