Several times I've done the hike to Spanish up in the snow. Seems your snow depth wasn't that bad (judging from photos of near the gate)... was a lot of fun and scary at times worried that taking a slip and sliding all the way back down again... not not necessarily in one piece.
Glad you guys had fun. That rebelay makes for a better ascent out than it was before. You guys are lucky.Whether it's nobler in the mine ... I'd rather be in a cave.Comment
