New Event

Hey folks, we need a new event! Tell us where you want to go and we'll make plans for it.
I want to go out the the Green River and hit up some of the national parks close by.
Or we could just go somewhere a little closer like the Sand Dunes.
I'm ready to to out exploring again. Are you?

Heck yes I am! Green river would be nice. I want to go get watermelons down there! A trip down to that area is well deserved.

wondering about watermelons! are they ripe this time of year?in this part of texas they donot begin to ripen untill late june and early july. whitt459

Well, sadly, i think they do not ripen till late august They are probably just sprouting right now. My mom's haven't even emerged the ground yet, but thats up here, and its warm down there.

I would really like to head back west over to Topaz Mountain and the Sand Dunes. Its not too far away, (1 1/2 hour drive or so) and there is a lot of neat things out there.
