			Today what remains of the Utah Launch Complex consists of about ten significant buildings and structures scattered throughout the valley. You will also find some other old building foundations and features here and there. Overall, the entire complex is in a terrible state of disrepair and has been obviously been left to rot. Old signs are unreadable, windows are boarded up, and most buildings are visibly damaged in some way either because of vandalism or the elements. Most of the buildings on-site are empty with little if anything to see. However, there are some buildings which still have old electronics and other items of interest.

			The most interesting part of the Utah Launch Complex is the communication or monitoring center. The buildings in this area were most likely used to house equipment that was used to to track and record missile tests. Around this site are three, long, runway type surfaces. The first one, on the west of the property, features a structure built on rails, so that presumably when the weather was bad the structure could be moved to cover and protect the communication dish on the opposite side of the track. Besides the three communication tracks you will also notice a series of above ground platforms designed to carry electronics and power cabling across the facility. These above ground structures are an unusual feature of this part of the complex. Also in this area is a partially underground bunker. Inside this bunker are remnants of electronics equipment including old DEC computers, lots of cabling and wiring and other various electronics. This bunker was probably some sort of primary control room for the complex.

-Baker Hot Springs is located 16 miles west of the Intermountain Power Plant near Delta. Turn towards the Intermountain Power Plant (HWY174) from SR-36 just south of Lynndyl, Utah. Head west 16 to 18 miles. Turn right onto the next dirt road you come to (it's the only road to the right that has a stop sign, 16 to 18 miles west of SR-36) and follow that road 7 miles. Watch for the willows off the right side of the road.

These pools are big enough to comfortably hold two people in each of them. Each pool has the ability to maintain a temperature comfortable to the users. Hot water flows on one side of the pool, while cold water flows on the other. The [http://www.utahoutdooractivities.com/bakerspring.html locals maintain] the pools by draining them and scrubbing them with bleach and a brush. Trash is not taken lightly by the locals, and have been known to show up to beer parties by [http://www.soak.net/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=Utah;action=display;num=1132157476 brandishing shotguns] and blocking the road until their messes are cleaned up.

The hot springs sit just east of a volcanic lava flow, and the Fumarole Butte. The water is heated by the lava, which is not far from the surface. The last eruption probably occurred around 14,000 years ago while under the glacial Bonneville Lake.
