I'll be getting into my Nelson Adit this fall I hope. We need to clear some old powder (oh boy!) first. Its supposed to be open back to the first raise, or about 1500 feet I think. I want to make a video of it as I will be with my Cousin who has some knowledge of the formations and history. He will be talking and I wont be able to remember it all.
Can the group suggest something in the $150 to $300 range that would be good for this mission? Honestly I dont know how much other use I will have for it after this project so am reluctant to spend too much.
Another question; I'll be heading over to REI to get a rock climbing helmet; primary to hold the led flashights. Where do you find extra blade clips? Is there a better way to mount additional led flashlights to it? Some have elastic head bands, some are just tubular flashlights.
